'Lucy Lavers Return to Dunkirk' film show a hit!

Lucy Lavers Return to Dunkirkthe one-hour film made by Jeremy Brettingham, was shown to a rapt and emotional audience at Rescue Wooden Boats' Maritime Heritage day at Main Barn, Creake Abbey, generously provided by Diana Brocklebank Scott.

There were several very popular workshops for children and adults; tying knots, making boats out of 'rubbish', and a crab boat quiz.

All this started the fundraising for Dunkirk Little Ship and local whelker Bessie, who we are planning to restore to a life afloat.  In the meantime, you can still take a trip on Lucy Lavers from Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, this summer - dates and details here.
