Lucy Lavers welcomed into Harwich

Lucy Lavers, skippered by Harwich RNLI Coxswain Paul Smith, is escorted into Harwich today, Friday 15th May, by both the Harwich lifeboats.

Paul Smith looked very happy to be helming Lucy Lavers for this short trip down the river from Levington.

Lucy Lavers and Paul were greeted at Harwich Quay by the Mayor and Mayoress of Harwich, along with other local dignitaries and supporters.

Lucy Lavers will be on display today until 4pm, and then tomorrow, Saturday 16th May, from 10.00am until 4.00pm.
