Ethel Maud

16ft Mussel boat. Built 1953 by Worfolk Brothers in Kings Lynn. For Brancaster fisherman George Death, whilst still under construction she has a premature “launching” during the 1953 flood. Now owned by Mark Beck she has competed in the annual Great River Race for traditional rowing on the Thames.

Maggie May

Ship’s Rowing Lifeboat, 28ft. She was in service from 1934 as a Rowing Lifeboat, certified for 45 passengers, on merchant vessels. Since 1963 she has been owned by Peter Beck and has spent the last 60 years at Burnham Overy Staithe.

Boris, Vera and Keira

Mussel Flat, built by Worfolk of Kings Lynn in the 1960s and worked in Brancaster. Now owned and used as a pleasure boat by Henry Chamberlain of Coastal Exploration Company.
