Maritime Heritage Centre opening May 23 - dates for your diary - hurrah!!

We are planning to open our Maritime Heritage Centre on Sunday 23 May 11.00 - 4.00. We have carried out a risk assessment and Covid -secure measures will be in place.

We will be open on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from then until the end of October.

We'd love to open on Saturdays too but need more volunteers! Might this suit you? Do get in touch 

Do come and visit our family-friendly Maritime Heritage Centre and learn about our local working boats and fishing heritage. Films, photographs, artefacts and stories all set in the old Officers' Mess building in the former WW2 Military Camp at Stiffkey. There is a display of the  fascinating Military History along with a small shop and a quiz for children.

Our flagship Dunkirk Little Ship and former local lifeboat Lucy Lavers will be at the boatyard in Stiffkey this summer having essential repair and maintenance work carried out, preparing her for further seasons' trips afloat from Wells.  You can see her at the Boatyard when you visit the Maritime Heritage Centre next door.
